About The Author

Charles Wilson Thomas

Charles Wilson Thomas was born on March 14, 1964, in Minnesota, where he grew up with focus, a love of learning and strong patience. He graduated a year early from Apaula High School and joined the United States Air Force in 1981 at age 17. He was known for his leadership and technical skills and earned the Professional Outstanding Performer Award in 1986 for his work in disaster preparedness. In 1988, he moved into records management, using his careful organization to protect important information and completed his Air Force service honorably in 1992.

In 1999, Charles moved to North Carolina, where he found a new inspiration for writing. He has written poetry, memoirs, self-help books and fiction, drawing from his life experiences and personal growth. His 2025 poetry collection, Poetry in Motion: This Boys Life, explores youth, challenges and life lessons with honesty and emotion.

Now at 61, Charles has published 31 books and continues to write, mentor new authors and share stories that inspire hard work, imagination and a sense of direction. His life shows how paying attention, staying curious and not giving up can lead to important and lasting accomplishments.
